This policy explains what data cnames.dev (operated by Hormo Studio Ltd., "we") processes when you use the website, dashboard, API, and edge network. It is written to be readable; it is not a substitute for your own legal review.

Data we process

Account data: email and authentication identifiers for dashboard sign-in.
Configuration data: the domains, origins, and settings you create.
Operational logs: request metadata (timestamp, host, status code, bytes, approximate region) generated as traffic passes through the edge.

Proxied traffic

Traffic to your customers' domains transits our edge so we can terminate TLS and route it to your origin. We do not store request or response bodies, and we do not sell or share this traffic. Operational logs (metadata only) are retained for a limited period for debugging, billing, and abuse prevention, then deleted.

Sub-processors

We use infrastructure providers (edge/CDN, cloud hosting) and Let's Encrypt for certificate issuance. Each processes data only to deliver the service.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Access, correct, export, or delete your account and configuration data.
Object to or restrict certain processing.
Lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

To exercise any of these, email hello@cnames.dev. As a processor of traffic to your customers' domains, we act on your instructions; a data processing agreement is available on request.
